本标准适用于石油化工行业中、轻载荷离心泵的工程设计及设备采购。超出中、轻载荷参数范围的离心泵也可参照执行。
本标准不适用于无密封离心泵。

【摘要】:Theconsistentperformanceofhydrocarbonlubricantbaseoilsisacriticalfactorinawidevarietyofapplicationssuchasengineoils,industriallubricants,andmetalworkingfluids.Inaddition,inmanyoftheseapplicationshumansareexposedtothebaseoilsasacomponentofaformulatedproductsuchthathealthorsafetyconsiderationsmayneedtobeaddressed.Thisguidesuggestsacompilationofpropertiesandpotentialcontaminantsthatareunderstoodbythoseknowledgeableinthemanufactureanduseofhydrocarbonlubricantstobeofsignificanceinsomeorallapplications.AdiscussionofeachofthesuggestedpropertiesandpotentialcontaminantsisprovidedinAppendixX1,witheachlistedalphabeticallywithinfourcategories.Potentialsourcesofbaseoilvariationincludetherawmaterial,manufacturingprocess,operatingconditions,storage,transportation,andblending.Thetestmethods,baseoilproperties,andpotentialcontaminantssuggestedarethosethatwouldlikelybeusefulinmanycommonsituations,althoughitisrecognizedthattherearespecificapplicationsandsituationsthatcouldhavedifferentrequirements.Performancetestingrelatedtothespecificapplicationshouldserveasthebasisforacceptability.Issuessuchasfrequencyoftestingandthespecificsofhowthetestresultsaretobeappliedarenotaddressedindetail.Itistheresponsibilityofthebuyerandsellertodetermineandagreeupontheimplementationofthisguide.Thisguideservesasabasisforthatdiscussion.1.1Thisguidesuggestsphysical,chemical,andtoxicologicaltestmethodsforcharacterizinghydrocarbonlubricantbaseoilsderivedfromvariousrefiningprocessesincludingre-refining,usedoils,andrefiningcrudeoil.Thisguidedoesnotpurporttocoveralltestswhichcouldbeemployed.Itistheresponsibilityofthebuyerandsellertodetermineandagreeupontheimplementationofthisguide.1.2Thisguideappliesonlytobaseoilsandnottofinishedlubricants.1.3Thisguideisrelevanttobaseoilscomposedofhydrocarbonsandintendedforuseinformulatingproductsincludingautomotiveandindustriallubricants.Thesebaseoilswouldtypicallyhaveaviscosityofapproximately2to40mm2/s(cSt)at100176;C(50to3740SUSat100176;F).1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
