【摘要】:1.1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestheminimumfunctional,performanceandsafetyrequirementsforacateringvehiclecapableoftransportingandloading/unloadingin-flightservice(catering)equipmentandsuppliesintoorfromtheupperdeckofverylargecapacityaircraft,aswellasthemaindeckoftheseorotheraircrafttypes.1.2TheintentofthisInternationalStandardisnottospecifyequipmentdesign,butrathertodefineminimumfunctionalandperformancerequirementsandhighlightthosecriteriawhichareknowntobeessentialtoanefficientandsafeoperationonciviltransportaircraftintheenvironmentofinternationalairports.1.3ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestheworldwiderequirementsrecognizedbyaircraftandvehiclemanufacturersaswellasairlinesandcateringagencies.Inaddition,itshallbeappliedwithduereferencetothenationalgovernmentalregulationsofthecountrywherethevehicleistobeoperated.Themainthoughnotexclusiveareasinwhichsuchnationalregulationsmayapplyare:-generalrequirementsapplicabletoroadvehicles;-sanitaryrequirementsregardingdesign,cleaninganddisinfectionofvehiclesusedtocarryfoodforhumanconsumption;-stabilityandothersafetyrequirementsapplicabletoelevatingequipmentcarryingpersonnelintheelevatedposition.NothinginthisInternationalStandard,however,shallbedeemedtosupersedeanylocallyapplicablelaworregulation,unlessaspecificexemptionhasbeenobtainedforthispurposefromtheappropriateAuthority.1.4CertainrequirementsofthisInternationalStandardarespecificallydictatedbyoverwingaccesstodoorsofcertainaircrafttypes,andmaynotapplytootheraircrafttypes.However,theintentofthisInternationalStandardisthatanyupperdeckcateringvehicleshallbecapableofsafelyhandlingthisspecificsituation.
