【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthebasicrequirementsofdesignfortheselectionofadustexplosionventingprotectivesystem.ThestandardisoneofaseriesincludingprEN14797ExplosionventingdevicesandprEN14460Explosionresistantequipment.Thethreestandardstogetherrepresenttheconceptofdustexplosionventing.ToavoidtransferofexplosionstoothercommunicatingequipmentoneshouldalsoconsiderapplyingprEN15089ExplosionIsolationSystems.ThisEuropeanStandardcovers:-ventsizingtoprotectanenclosureagainsttheinternalpressureeffectsofadustexplosion;-flameandpressureeffectsoutsidetheenclosure;-recoilforces;-influenceofventducts.ThisEuropeanStandardisnotintendedtoprovidedesignandapplicationrulesagainsteffectsgeneratedbydetonationreactionsorrunawayexothermicreactions.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcoverfirerisksarisingfromeithermaterialsprocessed,usedorreleasedbytheequipmentormaterialsthatmakeupequipmentandbuildings.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcoverthedesign,construction,testingandcertificationofexplosionventingdevicesthatareusedtoachieveexplosionventing1).
