【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardprovidesthebasicrequirementsofsensorsandnetworkscollectingaccuratedataoftherelevantparametersinforminginreal-timeaboutlightningtrackingandrange.Itdescribestheapplicationofthedatacollectedbythesesensorsandnetworksintheformofwarningsandhistoricaldata.ThisEuropeanStandardappliestotheuseofinformationfromthunderstormwarningsystems(whicharesystemsorequipmentwhichprovidereal-timeinformation)onatmosphericelectricalactivityinordertomonitorforpreventivemeans.Thescopeofthisdocumentisproviding:–ageneraldescriptionoftheavailablelightningandstormelectrificationhazardwarningsystems;–aclassificationofthunderstormdetectiondevicesandproperties;–guidelinesforalarmingmethods;–aproceduretodeterminethethunderstorminformationnecessity;–someexamplesofpossiblepreventiveactions(onlyforinformation).Anon-exhaustivelistofactivitiestowhichthisEuropeanStandardmightapplyisgivenbelow:–peopleinopenareas:maintenancepeople,labour,sportsorotheropen-airactivities,competitions,crowdedevents,agriculturalactivities,farmsandfisheries;–windfarms,largersolarpowersystems,powerlines,etc.;–occupationalhealthandsafetyprevention;–safeguardsensitiveequipment:computersystems,electricorelectronicsystems,emergencysystems,alarmsandsafety;–preventionoflossesinoperationsandindustrialprocesses;–preventionofseriousaccidentsinvolvingdangeroussubstances(e.g.flammable,radioactive,toxic,andexplosive);–preventionindeterminedenvironmentsoractivitieswithspecialdangerofelectrostaticdischarges(e.g.spaceandflightvehicleoperations);–operationsinwhichthecontinuityofthebasicservicesisneededtobeguaranteed(e.g.telecommunications,thegeneration,transportanddistributionofenergy,sanitaryservicesandemergencyservices);–infrastructures:ports,airports,railroads,motorwaysandcableways;–civildefenceoftheenvironment:forestfires,landslideandfloods;–managingtraffic(e.g.airplanes)orwidenetworks(e.g.powerlines,telecommunicationlines)mayalsobenefitsfromhavingearlydetectionofthunderstorms.ThefollowingaspectsareoutsideofthisEuropeanStandard:a)lightningprotectionwhichiscoveredintheircorrespondingEuropeanandNationalstandardsandregulations;b)otherthunderstormrelatedphenomenasuchasrain,hail,wind,etc.;c)satelliteandradarthunderstormdetectiontechniques;d)thisEuropeanStandarddoesnotaddressanydetailsonlightningand/orstormelectrificationhazardpreventiveactions.
