【摘要】:ThisTechnicalSpecificationgivestestmethodsforprefabricatedtimberstairs.Thesestairsaremadefromtimberand/orwood-basedmaterials.Themethodsincludedinthisdocumentcanalsobeusedforsinglecomponentsusedinstairs(e.g.steps,handrails,balusters,…).Thisdocumentdoesnotconsidertheoverallstructuredesignoftheseelements.Stairsthataredesignedtocontributetotheoverallstabilityoftheworksortothestrengthofthestructurearenotcoveredbythisstandard.Thesurfacesofthetimberelementsmaybeexposedorcoveredbyfinishes.NOTE1Wherestairsaresuppliedwithafinishorcovering,somebasiccharacteristicswillnotbecoveredbythisstandardandreferencesshouldbemadetotheappropriateproductstandard(e.g.colourfastnessofcarpetfinishes)NOTE2Wheretheterm"stair"isusedinthisdocument,itmayalsoapplytoindividualelementorcomponentwhereappropriateTestscanbecarriedoutonacompletefullyassembledsystemaccordingtomanufacturerinstallationinstructionsoronindividualcomponents.Afullyassembledstairtestcannotbeusedtoevaluateindividualcomponents.Thereisnoparticularhierarchyofsequencesortheneedtocarryoutallthetests.NOTEThenatureofusedtestsandelementscanbegivenbynationalregulations.
