【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthedesign,material,andminimumperformancerequirementsofresilientconnectorsusedforconnectionsbetweenreinforcedconcretestructuresconformingtoSpecificationsC478andC913toannularcorrugatedprofilewallhighdensitypolyethylene(HDPE)drainagepipeconformingtoAASHTOM252orSpecificationF2306/F2306M.1.1.1Theseconnectorsaredesignedtoprovideapositivesealbetweenthepipeandmanholesorotherstructuressubjectedtointernalandexternalhydrostaticpressureslessthan10.8psi[74KPa].1.1.2Testingunderthisstandardislimitedtohydrostaticpressures.Alternateairandvacuumpressuretestinginvolveuniquetestingprotocolsandarenotaddressedunderthisstandard.1.1.3Testingunderthisstandardisconductedinalaboratoryasaproofofdesigncertification.Actualfieldperformancetestingwouldbeaccomplishedandacceptedunderindividualprojectperformancestandardsorpipelineacceptancecriteria,whichisoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.Note18212;Infiltrationorexfiltrationquantitiesforaninstalledsystemaredependentuponmanyfactorsotherthantheconnectionsbetweenmanholestructuresandpipe,andallowablequantitiesmustbecoveredbyotherspecificationsandsuitabletestingoftheinstalledpipelineandsystem.Note28212;Thisspecificationmaybeappliedtoothertypesofplasticdrainagepipe.Consultwithmanufacturerofpipeforapplicabilitytothisstandard.1.2Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.WithinthetexttheSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents:therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.3Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section7.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecificprecautionstatement,see7.2.3.
