【摘要】:Cyclecountingisusedtosummarize(oftenlengthy)irregularload-versus-timehistoriesbyprovidingthenumberoftimescyclesofvarioussizesoccur.Thedefinitionofacyclevarieswiththemethodofcyclecounting.Thesepracticescovertheproceduresusedtoobtaincyclecountsbyvariousmethods,includinglevel-crossingcounting,peakcounting,simple-rangecounting,range-paircounting,andrainflowcounting.Cyclecountscanbemadefortimehistoriesofforce,stress,strain,torque,acceleration,deflection,orotherloadingparametersofinterest.1.1Thesepracticesareacompilationofacceptableproceduresforcycle-countingmethodsemployedinfatigueanalysis.Thisstandarddoesnotintendtorecommendaparticularmethod.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
